Some people get a bit confused when I say I’m sex positive,
They mistake it for promiscuity, for lack of self-respect
But being sex positive is about empowerment, about choice
It’s about embracing our desires, without shame or judgment
It’s about understanding our bodies, our needs, our wants
And being unapologetic about our right to pleasure
It’s about dismantling the stigma, the taboo, the guilt
And celebrating our sexuality, in all its beautiful forms
It’s about consent, respect, and communication
It’s about creating a safe and inclusive space for all
It’s about acknowledging the diversity of desires and orientations
And championing the freedom to love and express ourselves
It’s about challenging the norms, the stereotypes, the restrictions
And advocating for a world where love and pleasure are not confined
It’s about embracing our sexuality as a fundamental part of who we are
And affirming the right to explore, to experiment, to be true to ourselves
So, when I say I’m sex positive, it’s not about being reckless or wild
It’s about reclaiming our bodies, our identities, our narratives
It’s about finding strength and joy in our sexuality
And standing proudly in our truth, without fear or hesitation.
