Dear Beautiful Heart,
Being bisexual doesn’t make you confused.
Being bisexual doesn’t make you greedy.
Being bisexual doesn’t make you dramatic.
It makes you honest.
And honesty — especially about who you love — is one of the bravest things a person can do.
Here’s something I want you to tattoo onto your heart:
You are not responsible for other people’s comfort.
But you are responsible for your own truth.
Coming out isn’t a performance.
It’s not a press release.
It’s not a big confessional scene in a movie.
You can do it gently.
Quietly.
One trusted person at a time.
Try:
“This is something real about me, and I’m sharing it because I trust you.”
If someone loves you, they’ll love all of you —
not just the parts that fit neatly into their worldview.
And if someone walks away?
They’re making space for people who will hold you, celebrate you, and see you clearly.
You are not becoming undone.
You are becoming yourself.
And sweetheart… you’re doing beautifully.
xo, Jessi ♡
